Instructions
- 2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup salted butter
- 1 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
-1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract optional
- 1/3 cup sugar (for rolling cookies in)

Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, and baking soda
3. In another large bowl, beat together the butter and 1 1/4 cup sugar until fluffy.
4. Beat in the eggs, vanilla extract and almond extract
5. beat the flour mixture into the butter mixture
6. Pour the 1/3 cup sugar onto a plate
7. Form the dough into balls about 1 tablespoon in size Then roll each ball in the sugar and place 2 inches apart on the lined cookie sheet
8. Bake the cookies 1 sheet at a time on the middle rack of the oven for 10 minute
